Not up to sambar standard but can be quite challenging on foot when they are bedded down in the bush during daylight . Will usually spot you before you see them . Often make the mistake of hopping away and then stopping to look back at you . Otherwise you'll be shooting at a moving target . Pretty easy if you spot them in the open and can stalk using cover . I guess a large male skin could be regarded as a trophy of sorts . I had one on my floor for a few months when I was a teenager . Got sick of the roo smell and diced it in the end . |
