Thanks Tony. The Vortex Ammo is a 300gr. TSX FN (hp) @ 1,905fps.
The Hornady 325gr. Rubber-tip ammo runs 2,000 in a 24" bl., claimed.
The 325 hr. Handloads @ 2150fps. shoot fairly well from my 24" M1886/71 Pedersoli.
I was told the 325's were too soft for moose. I have no experience with them hunting but hope to this fall.
Toss-up between that one and 370gr. from my 1876 .50/95.
