I've never had bustard or bush turkey I understand the blackfellas eat them certain seasons, times of the year but not other times of the year? Their diet at certain times negatively affects their flavour?

I'm not sure I would want to eat one cooked straight on the coals ungutted, blackfella style. Colin have you partook of cooking this way?
