Sambar were originally from India. Released. here a long time ago. Yes very large ears. Colour I'm unsure of, most I have shot were similar. Tips only polished a little bit on this one. they love the real thick scrub.
The country is a lot steeper than it looks.
I was about to call it for a miss after losing his tracks, and no blood when I found him very happy.
