Mick, I see you try to not befoul the waters, by removing the carcases? I felt a bit guilty about a buffalo in the middle of a stream one time, where he ran to and died. But no way could I remove it all from the middle of the stream by myself. Are you standing guard against salties in the photo? Congratulations on another fine vintage rifle is such a great 300 magnum cartridge. If I had a .300 Magnum, it would be either a .300 H&H Magnum in a bolt action. Or a .30 Super Flanged for a break open rifle. A set of M98's in .300 and .375 H&H Magnum would be very nice. Well done on the "field testing" of the .300 M70 pre 64.
