This is the pre-64 .300 H&H which accompanied me on all three of my hunts in Africa, shown demonstrating the spread of the impala's horns in comparison with its 26" barrel. It accounted for a large number of plains game, including Grant's, Peters' and Thompson's gazelle, gerenuk, klipspringer, impala, fringe eared and Beisa oryx, waterbuck, sable, Grant's and Grevy's zebra and wart hog.
