Yeah the 300 H&H is a ripper cartridge. I got to shoot a number of rounds out of an original pre-war Holland & Holland 300 Super and it was the sweetest handling rifle I have ever shot. Very light and nimble with a very trim stock and yet super fun to shoot. I decided then that I must have a 300 H&H myself one day.

With the 338 WM I have used the 250 grain Woodleighs in both PP and RNSN as well as the 250 grain Speer Grand Slam all with excellent success on Sambar deer.
