From what I experienced and was told most guys take 1 to 3 days (usually 2) to take a very good buffalo at Gan Gan with Hunt Australia. Of course you pay for five days and can hunt or fish longer. Will you be hunting with anyone else?

Darwin is not worth a lot of time, but there are great things to do less than a days drive away, including:

Yellow Waters;
Adelaide River Jumping Crocodiles;
the Wildlife Zoo outside Darwin;
Katherine River Gorge
Fishing, among other things.

The end of August should also be the waterfowl season.

It would be good to meet up if it is possible. The timing sounds good.
