My first rifle was an Ace .22 Cooey, gift on 12th Birthday from RCMP uncle. Then, I save up (amazing as that sounds) and bought a 10/22 Ruger.
My first CF was a 20 bore single shot for ducks, grouse, pheasants, cottontails and squirrels, then 6.5Rem.Mag. for groundhogs, then .22-250,
same groundhogs, and a BRNO Fox .22 Hornet. Somewhere in there, I upgraded to an O/U Baikal for ducks, grouse as well as European hares in
the winter time.
