A fox is barking only a hundred metres away at present. Probably hunting rabbits.

It is always nice to hear the creatures of the wood.

As I don't really have any farm animals they damage anymore (deer fawns - but the fence normally keeps them out) it isn't a bother anymore. Even if they are a national pest, it would be a sad place not to have reynard in the hills on a frosty night.
