Near as good or very similar yes lol !

But on the Bigger stuff I would go with the 9.3X62, it is a giant killer but if I didn't have a 9.3 the 338/06 would do the job !




OK - fair - but - they are so close - I did say with all the PREMIUM bullets available. That excludes all the bullets that won't work and includes all of them that do, whether made in the USA, Australia, Germany, Austria, etc.
I also included the remark about loading to the same breech pressure, thus, the greater expansion ratio favours the .358 - for the animals one would normally go after with a .358.

Thus my .375/06IMP is even better than the 9.3x62 even though they have exactly the same case capacity. (I will admit to having 2 9.3x62's and only one .375/06IMP)
