Well it is seldom I don't agree with you Daryl, but on this I'm afraid I don't, wider range of bullets for one 160gr to at least 300gr & all good, lots of .358 bullets will not perform well in the Whelen .

Near as good or very similar yes lol !

But on the Bigger stuff I would go with the 9.3X62, it is a giant killer but if I didn't have a 9.3 the 338/06 would do the job !
