338-06 and .275 Rigby

Two new calibres. The 338-06 was a local pick up and a patient wait for the 7x57 in a highland stalker on the used market.
338-06 is a rem 700 build by D. Kerr, HS precision stock stainless fluted barrel cut to 22". Few loads and in the field with it. Very impressed with its performance with 185 GMX's from hornady. Also tried the 180 and 200 woodleighs designed for the 338-06. The 200 has worked well so far.

What can I say..... Absolutely beautiful. Woodwork is exceptional as is the metal work.
Purchased second hand with only a few rounds thru it. came with 30mm rings and mounts so I had to wait for a new scope .
Decided to use it with iron sights. Shoots well with 140 woodleigh PPSN's and hydros.
2-8x42 Artemis turned up and a quick session with handholds and ready for a pig hunt.
Weather has been all over the place so intermittent hunts at the local. Found a small mob early one morning and dropped three. Enjoying how nice the 7x57 is to shoot.
looking forward to a lot more hunting with it this year.
Trying to source 275 cases?
Heres a few pics cheers Mick
