I was cruising ebay yesterday afternoon and came across a water buff hunt for TWO hunters! It had got me thinking...... So I emailed this seller: Saw your water buff hunt. So what is not included? Any other expenses other than obvious airfare from my location in the USA? Are there charters required to get to the hunting area? Trophy fees? Can this hunt be taken in 2004? Please let me know the small print. -------------------- Question from: redtoads Title of item: Australian Water Buffalo Hunt - Trip for 2 Seller: arakkeen Starts: May-29-03 19:54:34 PDT Ends: Jun-08-03 19:54:34 PDT Price: Starts at $1,950.00 To view the item, go to: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3611130183 ------------------------------------------------ I received this email from him when I logged on to my pc this morning: Everything is included in the price listed on the ebay auction. No charters required, you will have to get to Darwin, we'll take care of everything once you get there. And yes, actually quite recommended, this trip can be taken in the 2004 season, as we have most of our hunts for this season already booked. -- All the best, Kurt Swinsker Sales manager shai_hulud@imap.cc ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So I thought, ok, I think I am going to watch this and bid on it. To date, no one had bid and I figured if it was all inclusive except airfare to Darwin I felt I could find a partner to buy half the hunt from me. As it said this was for two hunters. So I go back to ebay and the hunt is gone, whiped out from the data base! If you run the item number you get nothing suddenly. I have emailed this clown back as this auction was supposed to run until June 8th. For WIW since the hunt description is now gone, it was supposed to be conducted on some island, name of which I forgot, up on the tip of the continent. They advertised it as the best place in Australia for water buff. What do you guys think????? Any clues as to who the outfitter is? I'd like to kick some ass over this. |
