The image again. We get alot of call outs to remove snakes from accomodation areas on base when visiting squadrons are here (the yanks don't like them at all ). These are handed over to the snake guy in Katherine who takes a few pics and releases them in the scrub away from traffic etc.In reply to: Yep I know. I'm starting with a childrens python, the enclosure is nearly finished and I may get an olive down the track. I have a mate with quite a few snakes (8). He doesn't like the olives as they have no markings but I kinda like them. I came across a BIG olive out pig hunting earlier this year. Biggest snake I've seen in Australia 3.5-4 meters ish. Nice big head, didn't move when the dogs walked right over its head. I wanted to take a pic but I thought if I attracted the dogs attention to it they might have a go at the big bugger. |
