Looks great! Lots of bush there. Last week I had to come home early due to proximity of a bushfire that burn't out 550sq km. If a southerly change had of blown through Sunday afternoon half an hour later than it did a lot of the drilling gear would have been burnt out as well as mine infrastructure. Temp that Sunday was about 110F and blowing a gale from the west. The enormous fire created a massive CB cloud that caused black rain downwind and set many other fires off, up to 80km away, from lightning it generated. Has been a bad summer here for lightening generated fires. We have been in the bush with lightening around and rushing to get out before being caught by possibility of fire. |
