I saw five early yesterday morn cobber, one was a fat velvet stag that puffed his way up the hill in his endeavour to elude me,little did he know it wasn't his day to star ha ha. He was only in the short 'stumps' stage of growth whereas I saw one 4-5 morns ago in full polished white tip glory, amazing animals. When the right one decides to commit suicide by being at a "hilux spot" I will have a think about the freezer but flies are an issue of course. I will change a card in my camera today,I need the walk! EDIT: I just had a look at my own pics, that "spikey" is actually a young velvet stag as its obvious that he has the rudiments of a fork happening...doh! The short summer coat shows how sleek, roly poly and fat they are at this time of year,oh for a large coolroom. |
