This brings back bad memories. I had a Miroku Model 95 in .405 about 12 years ago, the rifle was the most unpleasant firearm I've ever owned to shoot. Even with a good recoil pad I would opt for a 458 or 500NE than shoot that thing.

I haven't had the opportunity to handle or shoot one yet but the Big Horn Armory lever guns look interesting (http://www.bighornarmory.com). Too bad that they don't have a model that can shoot both 460 and 454.
