Always hard to spot

Sanbar being a real lover of cover and usually the denser the better are put up more than seen so I was lucky to find this young `un over a narrow gully one wet day last year. It was new ground for me and I had pushed on for some time only seeing fresh marks and a long dead hind`s carcase. Noting a few deer marks here and there some old rubs and preaches I crested a gully top and found him in his bed with only his sticks showing.
After making some suitable noises which got him too his feet I snapped a roll off.
It made for the day`s hard climb out worth it,he was never in danger as I wasn't going to carry even a back strap from there.
