Considering the rifle against the tree, drink bottle out, no face mask or gloves, it was a meal and drink stop. I did fall asleep for a short time at another spot that day though ... Always an issue for me when stopping and sitting or reclining still for a period of time. I hunted hog deer when I was suffering from severe glandular fever a couple of decades ago. Probably slept more than was awake on that hunt. Used to rope myself well to the tree when sitting twenty feet up a tree, as more than once started to tip over. Got a nice hoggie stag that trip anyway. I normally don't mention any medical issues on public forums as it is no ones business. Nothing wrong to take a pit stop when hunting. JB and I in the heat of the Top End in the middle of the day used to try to find a shady cool and perferably wet stop most middays for a couple of hours. |
