Re: Water Buffalo charging a train in the NT - 197

I can't answer the bit on the water buff vs. train in NT, but it sounds like something cattle and buffalo would do...

About 25 years ago my uncle sold a couple of brangus bulls to a cattle rancher here in Texas...an unfenced rail line crossed the property of that ranch and a couple of times per day a train passed through. One of the brangus bulls in the pasture (paddock) got tired of the train trying to horn in on his harem and so one morning that bull was waiting on the tracks at the appointed time for his duel with the train...when he saw the train in the distance, he waited...it got closer, then he charged head on. The bull lost this match, as you might expect.

Richard.
