I have been trying to make a booking or get info on booking a pig hunting property self-guided and so far have not managed to connect with the guy. But he left a mesaage about properties by said game numbers are scarce due to the drought.

So I thought I ask you - how are game numbers up your way (what region?)? Is the drought affecting them there too, or are you further North?

I would suppose there can be significant die off during a drought, plus mustering feral game or killing it would be easier as available water is scarcer and game and stock concentrated. But usually they make a strong come back with one to three years. My experience anyway.
