Currently it is very dry out that way, I was hunting out there (not far away) only 3 days ago and water is definitely scarce with only the more permanent water holes remaining, there has been the odd shower of rain but the weather people are predicting a late and poor wet this year so you will probably be ok, no doubt there will be the odd storm but I doubt it will be enough to hamper you too much. It will be very hot though!
