One of my best friends is checking into coming down there to hunt buffalo. He was told even if he uses one of the guides guns he still has to show he has taken Hunter Safety. Is that true? And if so, how in the hell did that happen???

He is 52 years old and has hunted since he was 12 years old..in addition to going on 4-6 exotic hunts around the world every year..seems a bit over the top..
