While they may not be that big they are very good fun to stalk with a 22LR as you have to get within thirty meters to kill them cleanly. Especially good fun in hilly semi-open terrain. I did exactly that at Christmas time at a mates property on Lake Eildon where I was able to take seven foxes and one feral cat over a period of about one week. I used a BRNO model 2, Winchester Power Point 42 grain ammo, Steiner 8 x 30 Hunting Binoculars and an adjustable Mono-Pod. Very exciting.
