That photo is no good. You are supposed to lead everyone to believe it is always sunny here and never rains, let alone snow.

That looks a bit like my first hunting trip on sambar in a August in the Big River area. Because I didn't have a 4WD I picked a high ridge with one of the few "all weather" dirt tracks in the area. It also happened to the highest ridge in the area. And we managed to pick the wettest week in Victoria for the year. When I realised we were on the highest ridge and the clouds were dumping all the rain right on top of us, we shifted to the other side of the range to the Lake Eildon area.

Saw the rear left hip of one sambar deer crashing away in the undergrowth that trip.
