GG I lived on the GC Qld for over six years and although it was never enough trip wise I did fly and also drive down to hunt in Vic.
Its a pain yes this tyranny of distance in Aus but we manage to get over it if the lure at the end is enticing enough.You have done well to travel from I/State and take sambar.
