This fellow was shot on the last day of a recent NT hunt. Having spent a fairly pleasant few hours stalking creek lines, seeing a mob of Buffalo and scoring a cracker of a Boar, this chap was noted with a couple of cows and calves catching the morning breeze on a low ridgeline. After running out of cover having stalked in to around 40m with him remaining completely oblivious he was dropped to his knees with the right barrel of the 470 NE and given the left barrel for insurance as his head began to sag. It was a great way to finish off a good few days of hunting! |
