Re: New dawn for NSW duck hunters

Now if only we could get the Game Council model here in SA. Get real hunting on Gov't lands, National Parks, Forests and the like, and not silly "organised" extermination days to shoot ferals as now is sometimes possible. Instead real individual hunting opportunities.

And wouldn't it be wonderful to reverse the Communist takeover of OUR funds, hunters originally asked for a hunting permit here, to raise money for hunting and conservation. Back int he 1980's (I think) I remember the Communist state gov't (ie Labor) moved the funds 100% to "general funds" as there was "no reason tax funds should be earmarked by their source) or some such crap used as an excuse by Minister Lenehan I think it was. Now maybe only 15% of the hunting permit fees goes to hunting purposes and my guess it is almost all for fat arsed public servants administering whatever they administer ....

How wonderful if a SA Game Council could introduced with 100% of funds going to hunting opportunities and purposes. Let the ffffing greenie scum pay for biospheres, bush walking tracks and fat arsed public servants warming office chairs un-necessarily ...

Back to topic ...

I have a lot of those pigeons and would like to harvest a dozen or so a year for the pot from my small property.

Lets hope the S&F Party eventually gets the roo onto a game list as well. How silly it is for Americans to hunt native whitetail, Swedes to hunt native alg (moose), but here in Aussie the EXTREMELY COMMON AND NUNMEROUS kangaroo is off sporting hunting limits. They can also be good eating.
