9 months? That's nothing - only 4 to 6 months with good time off. That's a travesty of justice imho. Here, he'd get 5 to 7 years for manslaughter. Know what your target is - above all else, know what your target is, or if do the crime & you pay the time. Getting tough on this is what almost eliminate all "killed my hunting partner crimes" in Ontario Canada. It become a crime to 'sound shoot' - anyone giving such evidense against you- say you hear something and shot at the sound" - became an 'automatic guilty' unless you could prove innocent trial. This law was not misused. |
