That "bulge" behind the head changes depending on whether they really are resting on the ground or an inch or two off the ground. And of course if they open their mouth !

Well, that's from seeing a few big one's close up in the water and on a bank.

But his tail is fat, no disputing that and he has plenty of body weight for his size. I don't think he's that long but it's hard to tell when curved like that.

Probably been feeding on Barra and Pigs !!!
