I actually rumbled them out of the same gully head twice yesterday.I was only 20 metres from them in heavy wattle regrowth that took me 45 minutes to travel 100 m`s, then as I made my way around a large berry clump amongst the wattles I got the HONK! and I saw the hind standing for one second.
She came back calling three times 30-40 mins later for her calf,the stag? haha he won! Fark all I wanted to do was take his photo,well perhaps if he is what I think he is maybe a 7mm gift as well.

Its 5am here and the lads will be turning up shortly to have a hunt this morning,we are going to another place though.
