Went shooting with a pro roo shooter here last night for a bit of fun.
Have not boxed a roo for nearly 10 years and can't believe I thought it was "fun" again because when I finnished roo shooting I didn't fire a shot for two years as I was sick of it.

Thought I should true my little 6-223 up so not to make a fool of myself.

Went out to my range yesterday arvo and shot this group before shifting the scope 4 clicks to the right.The shot on it's own was the first shot on a clean barrel.

My 6-223 was a worn out 17 Rem that I paid $250 for.
Took the varnish off as well as the cheek piece and oil finnished it.
Screwed a 24" Dougless barrel into it and away I went.
Had some trouble with it but Tony Small (Afro408) recut the chamber and you see how it shoots now.

we shot until 10 o'clock and ended up with 25 roo's and I head shot 4 pigs but only 2 went box weight.
Around $500 for the 1/2 night.
