No starlings around here at the moment. I remember my best ever result was about 14 for one shot, a .410 side by side ... of course, they were sitting on a branch in a tall gum. The only way to get the numbers is to listen carefully and counts the thuds. Never got anywhere near as many with the 12-gauge. Quote: Good shooting at that distance. Ha ha, only joking, just pest introduced starlings. Now I was reading on the net, that they are considered a delicacy in Italy and/or Spain? Anyone tried eating one? Recipes? |
