This subject always mkakes me smile, anglers in Europe, esp from UK will happily pay 300 GBP a week to fish for big carp then tenderly release them, other European nations love to eat them. A few years ago I was in Seville for a couple of days and the Guadalquvir runs through. I thought I try an hours fishing, thing is stuffed with carp, I think I caught about 6 in an hour, put them all back which greatly puzzled 4 french tourists watching from the bridge, they couldnīt understand why I didnīt keep them to eat.
