Took the new purchase out a used winchester featherweight in 223. For a wet season hunt. Suprisingly it was reasonably dry so drove the hills and hunted the drainage areas,on foot. Found a small mob and got in close for a look, Mack decided to chase a wallaby so I dropped a small boar with a head shot. Mack wasnt to sure about the pig but eventualy settled down and had a chew. happy with his interest for his first trip out after pigs.
Poured down all the way home , so lucky to sneak a quick hunt in.Heres a pic Mick.
