Mate, cane toads everywhere! Very disappointing. At one point, we were relieving a recently deceased boar of his ivory beside a wallow, and noticed about 30 toadlets per square metre in the area surrounding the wallow. They were recently emerged from the water, about 15mm long. ...and this in the middle of the dry season! At least its safe to walk around the floodplain at night in bare feet now, the death adders are all dead! |
