What you notice at once is that R8 is wider and accordingly appears more "chunky, bulky..." than R93...FWIW not my cup of the tea - I didn't like removing trigger/magazine part from the beginning, handling one just keeps me further away from R8 - of course to each his own (everyone should handle one and see) - I am keeping my R93.
