I have wanted an 8x68 since reading a lot of reloading books about 14 years ago but all seemed too hard at the time.I then found out "you can build what you want",it only takes money.
Thought bullet weight and speed to powder ratio looked good.

Interesting that the Remington Core lokts 185 grain are OK. I saw some in the gun shop the other day for $55 a 100.

The 187 grain H-mantles kill really well on side on shots but angle shots or departing ones leave a little to be desired.

I only have about 60 H-mantles left then will move onto some 250 grain Woodleigh RN I have and then I will get to the 224 grain Cone Points.
