This sow was an unusual experience. She was alone on a little swamp. I don't see too many sows alone. At the shot, she reacted as though I'd missed, and ran 70 metres before doing a final somersault. I'd shot from about 100 metres, and this was my first pig with the Ruger No.1 in .300H&H. I used a 180 grain Woodleigh PPSN.
