That looks like it. A snake that is "black...ish".

I forgot the story.

"I chanced upon it and held steady. Little did I know it was a species that is the deadliest snake on earth. I read this in some BS guide that is complete crap so it must be true. Even a whiff of its venom results in more than instant death

. It was between me and the buffalo. I didn't want to miss any hunting time so poked at it with a stick, risking more than certain death. All while videoing it! It left but little did I know that it had circled around me and was now planning to swoop down on me from behind!

But I saw it and eluded it. Later the other guys said I was lucky to be alive and all looked at me weirdly!

Now you are thinking I may a complete dickhead but for those who know what I am talking about ie "another" death defying snake story on the net at the moment

THE REAL STORY is I was walking back from where "Dr Harrison Death" (yes that is his alias - ie "Steve") had shot a pig back to where Matt had shot a buffalo calf and I surprised a snake at my feet. I yelled out in surprise and it slithered away at high speed to hide in a bush (towards Matt I must say).
