I was just on the phone to Alex this arvy. He's fixed the stock / bedding problem, and the barrel band sling eye that was free-floating, and is about to start on the feeding issue (mine jammed on the second). I don't want to rush him, because then I'll have to send my No.1 in .450/.400 3" straight down for a tweak, and my wife'll get suspicious! Nah, not really, she's the best missus this hunter could hope for. Anyway, I don't have much experience with the M70 in .458WM, but what little I do have, even though the rifle wasn't performing properly, was very happy in terms of the feel and the accuracy.
