To answer your question. I like Hotcores for their value and have used a lot of them in my 338-06.
Bought them for $46 a 100 to work up some loads and run the barrel in.

At 3000 fps they are very fragile but hey four pigs for four shots. At that speed I wouldn't use them on Red deer or Sambar but OK for pigs,goats and Fallow deer.
