John, would gladly throw a tape over it someday when we get to catch up for a coldie. Many Kiwi guides still use SCI as they get a lot of US hunters travelling there. He will score better under the SCI as all tines will count, under the Douglas system he will only score as a 12-pointer as two of the tines don't counterpart....nevertheless I reckon he'd still rate in the high 200's range. However, as we know that is all purely clinical and should not detract from what is a ripper head that any of us would be proud to put on the wall! I agree with you fully on the second part, your guide does the hard work before and during the hunt to put you in front of a trophy, the least a client can do is have his homework done before the hunt as well!
