Have to say as well, when I was in Oz three years ago after a buff we came across a group of donkeys, my guide told me to whack one with his .404. I donīt normally shoot stuff that I donīt eat at least a part of, "Why" I asked...."youīll see" he said. Anyway, shot said donkey then mate said "take off the back straps". I did one then he did the other a lot quicker When we got to camp he stuck them in the fridge. 6 days later he whacked them on a griddle for about 7 mins a side and let them rest in foil then cut them up into rondels.....it was as good as any beef I have ever eaten, melted in the mouth, amazing, best |
