Nitro the venison was as good as any deer of that size/age and as i said he was fat and sleek.
Deer often after a major injury put all their antler growing into healing especially if hurt in velvet,and funny enough if a stag cops a bad injury to say a ball well the opposite side antler reflects the injury with deformed/stunted growth.
The spot x stag is one i took last year and i will write him up in the future if any want to hear about it.
