The .243 will a light fragile bullet is popular on kangaroos in Australia.

Also a good choice for goats, pigs and the lighter deer species including fallow, chital, rusa, reds and perfect for hog deer.

On my NT trip this week, one of the guys used a .243 on pigs and donkeys. Killed the donkeys fine too.

As with most calibres put a bullet in the right place with the right bullet for the task and it works.
