Biggest advantage of the cull hunt is that I can shoot multiple animals and really understand performance. Shooting one deer doesn't prove lots one way or the other. Shooting 50 - 60 head of game with the one load gives you an idea of the consistency of your load under varying conditions.

There are ballistically better bullets than the Remington Core Lokt but I'm not sure they kill any better (or as well). The core lokts I've used so far have expanded, held together and penetrated. Wounds have been much larger than I would have anticipated. Certainly larger than other 243 loads I've used. Even though the BC is not as advantageous as some, 243's start to run out of steam for larger medium game at 250 - 300 yards. Not sure really high BC's matter under these conditions.
