No problem, I didn't think you were. It might be a good idea to try Retumbo though, Hodgdon has load data for it for both the 243 and 25-06 with the heavy bullets so it should work in the 257.
I have not had the rifle long enough to work my way up to high velocity loads yet. I've basically just finished fire forming a bunch of cases and am now getting started with real loads.
