Talking about the Woodleigh PP's - I loaded some 300gn PP because that is all I could get at the time and we had some pretty bad failures. That is the first time I have used them and I binned them pretty quick.

Dug out a couple of boxes of RNSN woodleighs and loaded up a new batch of ammo a couple weeks back and blow me down they were two separate batches a couple years apart and the cannulure was in 2 different spots!! Grrrr...

FATBOY - what makes you think a solid is better in 'the brush' than any other kind of projectile of similar weight?? Bit of a furphy that one I reckon - they all deflect equally!!
